The problem with Jim Carrey is that he went directly from acting like a complete retard,. to trying to get everyone take him seriously. Will Smith is beginning to be taken seriously as a dramatic actor because he EASED into it with action/comedy, and never acted anywhere near as hilariously dumb as Carrey did.Jim Carrey's now at about the age where he should have been easing into dramedies0, and picking his scripts wisely.
