Agreed. If you watch the video, the dog was trying to bite him at one point. An enraged German Shepard represents a lethal threat. All it would've taken is one random bite to the neck. The trainer did what he had to to regain control over the situation--good for him. As much as I love dogs, people come before animals. Sorry, but that's just how it is. Dogs *need* to know that they are not the pack leader. It's very unhealthy (and dangerous) for a dog to think it has dominance over people. Sometimes establishing dominance requires using physical force to gain submission. Even the "Dog Whisperer" uses force at times...
I'm with cyberthief on this one. I ***** hate ticks. But here's the odd part, I love the outdoors. I spend the warm months outside backpacking typically in places where you find ticks. Every time I encounter one of those ***** I'm like a little girl that just found a spider, I hate those things so much!
